Education: I have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Marketing and a teaching certificate for Middle and Early Childhood from Carroll University.
Teaching Experience: I started teaching 4th grade at St. Joseph Catholic School in August 2007. In August 2018, I went part-time, teaching technology to kindergarten through 5th grade and working on various projects. On the days I am not working, I am at home watching my grandchildren grow, explore, and learn!
Family Life: I have been married to my husband, Nick, since 1982. We have three children: Beth (husband, Joe), Ben, and Matt (wife, Amanda) and five wonderful grandchildren: Gavin, Lilly, Nolan, Mason, and Stella.
Interests & Hobbies: In my spare time, I love to read. My favorite genre of book is mystery, but I enjoy any genre of book. I also enjoy any type of craft, such as scrapbooking, knitting, crocheting, and many more. My favorite thing to do is to hang out with my children, their spouses and children, playing board games, cards, or just sitting and talking about what is happening in their lives.
I am a very easy-going person who likes to look for the good in a person. I love teaching children. I especially enjoy seeing their faces when they say they understand and can relate what we are doing to everyday life. I like to have fun with things, and this carries into my teaching. I can honestly say I LOVE SCHOOL! I remember loving school way back in kindergarten. I have always enjoyed school and learning! I am looking forward to working with your child/ren and helping them grow.
