Name: Ms. Karissa Minster
Education: I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree with two majors: Physical and Health Education, along with two minors: Adaptive Physical Education and Coaching. I received my Degree from Carroll University.
Teaching Experience: I taught a semester at Greendale Middle School for student teaching as a PE teacher. I then taught PE in the summer at Greendale High School. I have worked at my local recreation department since I was 16 as a lifeguard, swim instructor, youth coach, and youth referee. This really helped me discover my passion for teaching kids sports and how to stay active while having fun!
Family Life: I am from a family of 7. I have a mom and a dad, one older sister, two younger sisters, and one younger brother. I also have 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a turtle. It can be crazy at times, but I love it.
Interests & Hobbies: I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends, coaching girls and boys volleyball and club softball, and watching Disney movies. I am currently coaching boys volleyball at St. Mary in Hales Corners. My family loves Disney, and we try to go to Disney World at least once a year!
I feel so blessed to be teaching Physical Education at St. Joseph Catholic School. This is such a warm and welcoming community, and I am so happy to be a part of it. I love teaching and seeing the kids' progression throughout the year. This really is a rewarding job.
