Study Guide:

1. Look over the Ch 3 Study Guide in the book on page 98.
2. Go over all Lesson Worksheets and the Review and Assessment on pages 99-100 in the book. Reread the highlighted parts of each lesson and the notes written in your notebook
3. Go online to www.pearsonsuccessnet.com to review all Ch 3 material.
4. Go to the book website to review the vocabulary words. (Look for Ch 3 - The Big Question and the Vocabulary Flash cards tab.)
5. Look over the SpongeBob worksheets
6. Know how to make a Punnett Square and what it is used for. Be able to “read” a Punnett Square.
7. Know the 4 patterns of inheritance – incomplete, codominance, multiple alleles, and polygenic inheritance.
8. Know what meiosis is.
9. Essay Questions: (answer 4 and 1 for extra credit)

• Know what probability is
• Know what the function of meiosis is
• Know how to use information to figure out the alleles of offspring
• Be able to explain the results of Mendel’s first experiment with pea plants
• Be able to compare and contrast incomplete dominance and codominance
