Science 2011 - 2012

Class

Be prepared for class each day.

Bring book, notebook, pen, pencil, and any worksheets to class.

Place green card on top of table.

Absences

If a student is absent, it is the student’s responsibility to get and make up all work. (Policy states for every day missed, one day to make up the homework.)

Please see me if you need help.

Make sure you READ all the covered material and write your notes.

If you are absent on the day of a test, you will take the test the day you come back to school.

An exception would be if you were out several days before the test.

Homework

All homework should be completed at home. You might be able to begin the work in class, but please finish it at home.

You will find many helpful sites online to help you study the Science work.

I will post the Science homework on the school website.

Grades

All homework (usually a worksheet) will be averaged as 15% of the Science grade. Quizzes and the Science notebook will be averaged as 25% of the grade.

All tests and projects will be averaged as 60% of the Science grade.

Grades will be posted on the StandardScore website.
