Hi Middle School Parents,
Technology and Music report card grades are given on the 2nd and 4th quarter report cards. The grade will include all work done during the two preceding quarters.
Technology grades are calculated by the following percentages. I have also included a list of skills that we have worked on or will cover in this grading period.
Since most of the work is graded close to the end of the quarter, it is difficult for me to notify you when the student’s grade falls below a C. I will post grades on Webgrader as soon as a skill/project is graded. This information will be on the school website under the Technology link on my page.

Middle School Technology Grades
Typing/keyboarding proficiency 25% (Using proper keyboard fingering is extremely important! I would rather have a student begin to type slowly with accurate keyboard placement, than fast and careless!) Students should practice at home using the websites suggested on the Technology links on the school website.)
Consistently uses correct figuring on the keyboard (whenever using the computer)
Maintains grade level proficiency for keyboarding:
· Grade 6 – 15 wpm with 95% accuracy
· Grade 7 – 20 wpm with 95% accuracy
· Grade 8 – 20 wpm with 95% accuracy
