Name:  Mrs. Clarice Hochhaus

How long have you been teaching:  I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from UWM.  I taught in Menomonee Falls Public Schools and have taught at St. Joseph School since 1987.

Family Life: I have one daughter, one son, two grandsons, and one granddaughter.

Hobbies:  I love to read, sew and do crafty things, and to work in my yard.  I also enjoy sketching and painting.  Perhaps my biggest passion is writing because I love playing with words.

I have loved school my entire life.  As a child I was privileged to have many wonderful teachers who instilled in me a love of learning.  I played school with my friends and was drawn to teaching from a young age.  I hope to instill in my students a love of God which enables them to make the giant step from talking about their faith to living their faith.  I feel honored to have worked with so many children over the years and hope that my students will come to love learning as much as I do.
