Welcome to the Fourth Grade Web Site!
I have been at St. Joseph's since 2007. I received my Certification in Education in 2006. For the 2006-2007 school year I was a substitute teacher in many different school districts, such as Brown Deer, Mequon, Cedarburg, Waukesha, and at St. Catherines of Alexandria.
I have been married for 27 years. My husbands name is Nick. We have a daughter, Elizabeth who is a Senior at Mount Mary College and is in the Columbia College of Nursing. We also have two sons, Ben is a sophomore at Lakeland College in Sheboygan, WI and Matt is a sophomore at Germantown High School.
In my spare time I love to read, my favorite genre of book is mystery, but I enjoy any genre of book. I also enjoy any type of craft, such as knitting, crocheting, ceramics, and many more (but not sewing). My favorite thing to do is to hang out with my kids playing board games, cards, or just sitting and talking about what is happening in their lives.
I am a very easy going person who likes to look for the good in a person. I love teaching children. I especially enjoy seeing their faces when they say they can understand and can relate what we have learned to everyday life. I like to have fun with things and this carries into my teaching and the things we do in class. I can honestly say I LOVE SCHOOL! I remember loving school way back in kindergarten, I have always enjoyed school and learning! I am looking forward to teaching your child and both watching and helping them grow.
