We are an award winning school with award winning teachers and award winning students. St. Joseph has received Exemplary Recognition from the Archdiocese of Milwaukee for Mission, Community and Climate. Three of our teachers, Mrs. Margaret Solberg (K-4), Mrs. Jackie Thurner, middle school math/algebra, and Mrs. Karen Ammerman, middle school social studies, English and art, received the Herbert Kohl Teacher Fellowship Award. Only 100 teachers statewide receive this distinction. Our students are outstanding in forensics, sports, and community awards. We will give your student the individual attention he or she needs to accomplish great things!

School News from our New Principal

"New Beginnings are a Gift from God" is the theme for our school year.  From the moment I arrived at St. Joseph Parish, it was evident that this community has so many gifts to offer.  I am fortunate to be working with a dedicated group of teachers and staff, a wonderful secretary, a hard working maintenance crew, and supportive families and volunteers.  

As our theme states that "New Beginnings are a Gift from God", I know that God has blessed me with a wonderful gift that has enabled me to become part of this community.  I look forward to meeting you and working with you and your children this year.

I feel privileged to be part of a school that has earned Exemplary recognition for Mission, Community, and Climate from the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.  The community of St. Joseph should be very proud of the academic and spiritual accomplishments of their students.  As principal, I promise to commit myself to continue to maintain and develop programs to make

St. Joseph the best school possible. 

Before arriving at St. Joseph, I was principal at St. Paul School in Genesee Depot for eight years and St. Peter School in East Troy for four years.  I have sixteen years of teaching experience in Catholic schools at the primary, intermediate, and middle school levels.  As a result, I have a strong commitment to be part of a faith community that impacts

children both academically and spiritually.
